Temporary Tattoos

We lost some audio switching cameras so we will do another video review on these after the holidays

Hard Candy Eye Shadow Tattoos
                            Animal                    Exotic                    Glitter

First off, I have to say I am absolutely LOVING the Hard Candy addition to Wal*Mart.

As someone who loves Hard Candy while they were a kind of higher end brand, the affordable line is much cuter, extensive, and innovative. Now to the eye shadow tattoo!

I always wanted to try the ones they sell at Sephora, but thought they were a bit pricey for something I would probably mess up (or so I thought). So when I saw them at Wal*Mart I bought one of each they come in Animal Print, Exotic
and Glitter. The set contains 3 shadow sets, an applicator brush, and setting powder, for a total of $10.

They are very easy to apply if you follow the simple instructions of making a "peace sign" shape with your fingers to hold it down, and take another finger to rub back and forth. Not much pressure is needed to apply these! After removing, you'll notice there is still a lot of product left on the sticker. I save them and use them a few times.

Your eye will be a little sticky but I have found using a finger to blend before applying the setting powder works great. The setting powder is VERY light weight and makes the shadow smooth so that it loses the glossy sticky feeling. Staying powder is pretty amazing, and they last for  about 9 hours.

If you've been afraid of trying them definitely get them, you could be missing out on a lot! I had no problem removing them and they can be cut if you would prefer color only on the lid, or you can just not press down on the sticker above the crease.

Hard Candy isn't available at ALL Wal*Marts yet so if you can’t find them at Walmart look for them on Ebay or Amazon.

Temporary Eyeliner Tattoos
I personally love these because I can not draw a perfect cat eye.
For those of you who want to know exactly what they are like, they are similar to the tattoo machines for kids in Walmart or any other grocery store. You use the exact same technique to apply. They are extremely simple to apply. They do have a shine to them after you apply so I just go over it with a black eyeliner pencil or black eye-shadow, They are so easy and simple that my 9 year old can apply them by herself. You can purchase them on www.ebay.com 1 pack with 4 designs cost me .99 cents with free shipping. 4****

Stay tuned for video update.

MaxDona Instant Eye Shadow
I have seen different versions of these eyeshadows in stores and was curious as to how they would work. My initial reaction was “no way these would look good”. But I found them for a really good price online and decided to try them to see what this new trend in makeup is all about.
The instructions recommend closing your eye and slightly raising
your brow to flatten out the surface of your eyelid. Then you press firmly for about 4 seconds then sweep out across your lid. It really is very easy and quick. The eye-shadows apply smoothly and have a really nice texture. The finish is shiny on the shimmering pair I used. A really nice finish and I loved the light beige shade at the top in my brow bone area.
After a bit of blending with just my fingertip I was sold and can’t wait for my next set of MaxDona instant eye shadow coming in the mail.

My overall thoughts are that they are a great and affordable option for a younger person or someone on the go who needs to do a quick eye shadow change. They come in so many different shades and they do make application easy. You just need to do some moderate blending out that could be achieved just with a fingertip. 5 *****

Be on the look out for our video application process, it only took like 30 seconds to apply and blend. You can purchase them on www.ebay.com and www.amazon.com at a fairly good price.
